Fire Safety and Emergency Response
This course has been developed to provide workers who work with people with a disability with an understanding of fire safety practices and emergency procedures.
Learning outcomes
This online course covers the requirements under WHS Regulation 2011 and includes:
- site emergency and evacuation plans
- familiarisation with automated fire systems and equipment
- evacuation and communications of emergencies in line with AS 3745 - 2010 Planning for emergencies in facilities and AS 4083 - 2010 Planning for emergencies - Health care facilities
- the fire tetrahedron
- fire extinguishers choice and use
